Our client seeks a talented individual to join us as a Cyber Security Engineer within our Cyber Security Team. Our
client is a deep technology start-up in the FinTech industry in Singapore. They provide a mobile benefits
platform as well as an enterprise platform that incorporates mobile computing, AI, & blockchain technology for
clients in the insurance and banking sectors. They also provide cyber security services for the security and
protection of their client data and applications.
They offer benefits such as flexible working locations, ICO token bonuses, and the chance to serve clients in
neighbouring countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Japan on both organic engagements as well
as in collaboration with a top tier global enterprise security vendor partner. They are building up its core team
of cyber security specialists and will grow its IP in AI techniques for Cyber Security in collaboration with their
data science team. Their cyber security team has 3 different areas of work – in Operations within their Security
Operations Centre for monitoring, detection, response, and pro-active protection of the data and applications of
their clients; in Consulting to provide advisory, assurance, and system implementation services for their clients;
in Products for the development of AI enhanced cyber security products. The Cyber Security Engineer (Products)
will work primarily on development of their SOC software application in collaboration with their enterprise
security vendor partner. The individual will also be deployed within their own SOC for systems monitoring,
incident response, threat intelligence, and threat hunting.
Job Description
Products (60%)
- Co-develop our client’s managed detection and response SOC application in collaboration with their
enterprise security vendor partner
- Collaborate with their data science team as well as their vendor partner to develop new capabilities for
the SOC application and demonstrate viability for their client-base
- Incorporate data and insights from operational incidents to enhance the product
Consulting (10%)
- Provide consultation, configuration, & deployment services for our client’s SOC application
Operations (30%)
- Provide analysis and trend overview of security log data from multiple heterogeneous endpoints and
networks
- Provide incident response support upon detection of incidents
- Provide threat, vulnerability, and security advisory services
- Provide maintenance and customer support for deployed instances of our client’s SOC application
 

Yêu cầu tuyển dụng

Requirements
 Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or similar courses
 3 to 5 years of software development experience in Python, Java, and Javascript. Preferably in the
cyber security domain
 Knowledge and experience in Elasticsearch, Logstash, & Kibana
 Familiar with using and creating REST APIs, as well as DevOps tools & processes for software
development
 Strong problem-solving skills, willing and enthusiastic to learn on-the-job, and perform continuous
learning
 Willing and able to travel overseas for engagements at client sites in Japan or neighbouring countries.
Good to Have
 Valid certifications in CREST CRT, OSCP, CISSP, CISA or CEH will be a strong advantage
 Familiarity with additional modern software engineering approaches such as Infrastructure as Code,
Software Defined Network, Zero Trust Network, Distributed Computing, etc.
 Prior SOC, data centre ops, or enterprise information security experience
