Our client seeks a talented individual to join us as a Cyber Team lead within our Cyber Security Team. Our client
is a deep technology start-up in the FinTech industry in Singapore. They provide a mobile benefits platform as
well as an enterprise platform that incorporates mobile computing, AI, & blockchain technology for clients in
the insurance and banking sectors. They also provide cyber security services for the security and protection of
their client data and applications.
They offer benefits such as flexible working locations, ICO token bonuses, and the chance to serve clients in
neighbouring countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Japan on both organic engagements as well
as in collaboration with a top tier global enterprise security vendor partner. They are building up its core team
of cyber security specialists and will grow its IP in AI techniques for Cyber Security in collaboration with their
data science team. Their cyber security team has 3 different areas of work – in Operations within their Security
Operations Centre for monitoring, detection, response, and pro-active protection of the data and applications of
their clients; in Consulting to provide advisory, assurance, and system implementation services for their clients;
in Products for the development of AI enhanced cyber security products.
The Cyber Team Lead will oversee the planning, execution, and coordination of projects in all the 3 areas – in
operations as the SOC Manager, in product development as the Project Manager, and in consulting engagements as the Engagement Manager when required
Products (50%)
 Manage the software development lifecycle for the cyber development team in the creation of a
managed detection and response SOC application in collaboration with their enterprise security vendor
partner
 Mentor the team in the application of DevOps and Big Data methodologies and toolsets for SOC
application development
Consulting (25%)
 Communicate and coordinate with customer side PMT and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of
projects
 Handle project schedule, risk, reporting, and change management processes
Operations (25%)
 Review analysis and trend overview of security log data from multiple heterogeneous endpoints and
networks
 Accountable for management of detected security incidents
 Accountable for threat, vulnerability, and security advisory reporting
 

Yêu cầu tuyển dụng

 Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or similar
courses with strong performance in cyber/IT security related modules
 4 to 8 years of experience in cyber security domain. Remuneration will commensurate with experience
and skillsets
 Extensive experience in DevOps and the toolsets for configuration management, containerization,
continuous integration, and continuous deployment
 Deep experience in Linux; Ansible; VMWare, OpenStack or Kubernetes; Docker; Elasticsearch, Logstash,
and Kibana; HDFS; Python, Java, and Javascript
 Strong background and experience in configuration, development, deployment, testing and
maintenance of the ELK stack – Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana
 Valid certifications in CREST CRT, OSCP, CISSP, CISA or CEH will be a strong advantage
 Familiarity with modern software engineering approaches such as DevOps, Infrastructure as Code,
Software Defined Network, Zero Trust Network, Distributed Computing, etc.
 Exposure to major cyber security platform/tool types – TIPS, SIEM, SOAR, VA, PT, etc
 Prior SOC, data centre ops, or enterprise information security experience
 Strong problem-solving, co-ordination, time management, and stress management skills to handle
complex & time critical projects
 Good team building, people management, and leadership skills in order to build and motivate the team
 Excellent communication skills - oral, written, and presentation; ability to explain complex security
issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
 Willing and able to travel overseas occasionally (25%) for cybersecurity consulting engagements
